Account & Data Deletion

Navigster Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Navigster account and its associated personal information from the User app, Driver app, or this website. Institution dashboard users can also use this page. Navigster is provided by Workbees Technologies. This page explains the process, its effect, and the limited records that may remain after deletion.

Ways to request deletion

Request deletion from either app

Open Menu > Account > Delete account. Review the information shown, verify your identity if requested, and confirm deletion. You do not need to call or email support to complete the normal in-app process. Uninstalling the app, logging out, or having an account suspended does not delete your account.

Request deletion without the app

Use the request form below. Select the relevant account and request type, provide your registered mobile number or account identifier, complete verification, and confirm. You do not need to reinstall the app or buy a plan. Suspended users and users whose paid plan has ended can also submit requests.

If you cannot access your registered number, choose “I cannot access my registered number” on the form and provide a reachable reply contact. We will arrange proportionate alternative verification. We cannot delete or disclose account information solely because someone knows a mobile number or student name.

Website request form

Submit a deletion request

Use this form if you cannot or prefer not to use the in-app process. You do not need to reinstall the app or buy a plan.

Request type *
Account or service *

If you have several accounts, specify which ones the request covers. One request must not silently close unrelated roles.

Verification of a reply contact does not by itself establish ownership of the account being deleted.

Access option *

We use these details to verify and process your request as explained at https://navigster.com/privacy. Do not upload identity documents, student lists, payment credentials, or another family's information to this initial form. Enter an OTP only in the secure verification screen, never in a message to support. If more evidence is needed, we will explain what is necessary and provide a suitable channel.

What happens after deletion

Understand the effect on your account, records, and any active subscription before you confirm.

What changes when an account is deleted

Parents and student users

You lose access through that account to live trips, alerts, saved boarding points, preferences, and account-linked history. We remove its student and institution links. Another guardian's account is not deleted. Deleting your account does not cancel the institution's transport service or remove a child from its transport roster; contact the institution about those arrangements.

Drivers

You lose access to the Driver app, trip controls, and account-linked history. Your account identifiers are removed from records unless a specific retention exception applies. An institution's bus, approved route, or another driver's account is not automatically deleted. Do not operate deletion controls while driving; contact the transport manager about any active journey or handover.

Institution staff

Your personal dashboard access is removed. This does not close the institution's service or delete other staff accounts. An authorised representative can separately request institution service closure and coordinated data return or deletion. We verify authority before acting on a request affecting the whole institution.

What we delete and what may remain

For a verified account-deletion request, we remove the account profile, authentication links, notification tokens, saved boarding points, preferences, and account associations from live systems. Associated personal information in trip records, location records, diagnostics, and provider systems is deleted or irreversibly anonymised where eligible. Replacing a name with a reusable identifier alone is not anonymisation.

Shared trip and institutional records are reviewed individually. We remove personal associations where possible while preserving records that can legitimately remain without identifying you. A record's connection to an institution is not, by itself, a reason to retain your personal information indefinitely.

Limited retention exceptions

Necessary billing or tax records may remain for the statutory period applicable to that record. Specific security, fraud, dispute, or legal-hold records may remain only where justified or required, with access restricted to that purpose. We explain the retained categories, reason, and applicable period in our response unless disclosure is prohibited. A billing exception does not justify keeping unrelated location history.

Accountability records

Minimal consent and completed privacy-request records may remain for up to 12 months after withdrawal or request completion where necessary for accountability or a legal requirement. Security and administrative audit records normally expire within 12 months of the event; support cases within 12 months of closure. These limits do not prevent earlier eligible deletion or override a specific legal requirement.

Backups

Deleted information may remain in restricted backups for up to 90 additional days after removal from live systems. It is not used for normal service during that period. If a backup is restored, deletion instructions are reapplied before the restored personal information returns to normal use.

Institution records

Your institution or employer may independently hold transport or student records. We explain which part of a request must also be addressed to it. This does not remove Workbees' responsibility for information we hold or process.

Timing and completion

We aim to acknowledge requests within 3 business days and respond within 30 calendar days. After necessary identity verification, eligible account deletion is completed in live systems within 30 calendar days. Any shorter applicable legal deadline takes priority. We tell you if verification is incomplete rather than leaving the request without an explanation.

We send a completion notice to your verified contact, explaining any retained exceptions and backup expiry. Once deletion is complete, the account cannot be restored through ordinary account recovery. A later registration creates a new account and may require fresh institution activation.

Subscriptions and refunds

Account deletion does not automatically cancel an app-store-managed subscription or issue a refund. Before confirming, use Menu > Account > Manage subscription, or the original store or payment provider, to cancel renewal. The deletion flow shows the relevant billing route where a subscription is identified. You can still request deletion without waiting for the paid period to end. See https://navigster.com/subscription-terms for cancellation and refund information.

Other data requests and questions

You can request deletion of specified data without asking to close the whole account. We explain if the requested deletion would prevent a feature or the account from working, and obtain confirmation before extending the request to account closure. Permission withdrawal stops the relevant future processing where applicable; it does not automatically erase existing records.

A parent or guardian can request action concerning a child's information, subject to verification of authority and the relevant institutional records. We do not grant access to another guardian's private account. For help or a review of our response, use the privacy contact above or https://navigster.com/support and quote your request reference.
